I was born in Cedar Grove WV in '43; adopted by a hard-luck flat-land KS farmer, his wife and their son. The "relationship" never "took"; been a loner all of my life and by the grace of God things have gone reasonably well for me. I've felt that America has a "self-correcting" feature in its sometimes wayward progress; the good faith, ability to work hard, think clearly and the intellect of my fellow Americans but I see a "hard row to hoe" in the next many years which will challenge us, our children and our grandchildren in getting America back to its pre-eminent status. But it can and will be done.

Yeah, my wife and I were just talking the other day how much America has changed since we were kids, born in the 50's and growing up in the 60's through the mid 70's. Even with America's problems of those time life seemed so simple and predictable compared to now. We married in 1976 and the changes even since then have been astonishing. Looking back, those changes have not all been good. I get depressed thinking of the changes.

Sad truth about this country and like curt said I agree 100%. Nice sounding song too that is the music that this country needs more of not that rap crap and other stuff. Thanks for posting.
