I agree. It will weep when warmed enough. When liquids are heated, they expand and have to go someplace. There is nothing that could be applied to a stock
that would seal it in 100%. That's why it's important to leech out as much as possible using heat to get it to travel to the surface. It can take a
while, too, but it does work pretty well. Even after all that work, however, you might still experience some weeping especially if the stock is exposed to
direct sunlight for any length of time. Behr 600, which is a curing oil, will remain intact on the surface even though there is some minor oil still coming to
the surface. Eventually it'll cease as it exhausts itself. Just wipe the stock with a nice rag to clean it if it happens and move it to a cooler
location. Shellac will also allow some weeping to occur, too. Both the shellac and oil finish will mitigate much of what's in there, however.
