El Paso Saddelry Holster (PIC Added) |
Lead | |
|
I ordered a 1930 Austin style holster from El Paso Saddlery for my N frame S&W's about two months ago and received it the other day. Got the border
stamping and total cost came to right around $140. This is a lot of money for a holster, all I can say is WOW! What a beautiful piece of workmanship. This is
the most expensive holster I have ever bought but the quality is well worth the price. I have 3 N frame Smiths that will fit this holster so figured I could
splurge a little bit. All I can say is if you are looking for a premium piece of handgun leather you won't be disappointed in EPS holsters. I'll post a
picture tomorrow.

I am a big fan of El Paso's work. I have a #44 Outfit holster and belt I bougt from them a few years ago. The wait was around 4 or 5 months and the
workmanship is very impressive. I wear it when I'm at the farms and deer hunting, I'm sure the rig will outlast me. Great work El Paso.

I've had a basic military flap holster for an 1851 Navy Colt from El Paso Saddlery for 10-15 years and it is still almost like new. It has seen a lot of
use over those years, but doesn't seem to be wearing hardly at all. It has a few scratches and scuffs, but is not showing any signs of losing shape or
getting soft.
Sounds like they are still making top quality gear!

I take the price of the holster, divide it by the number of guns I have that it will fit in, and come up with an average.
Your holster was actually only $46.60! Using my sense of logic, I have a few 1911 holsters that were only about $2! |

I got one of their "eyeglass" type holsters for my 1911's/ Browning HP some years ago, also got a mag holder and ranger belt( now too small) all
in basketweave pattern. It's still the nicest looking holster I have and workmanship is outstanding. Yes, their prices are high but you gets what you pay
for!

I got an email from Cheaper Than Dirt today about some El Paso holsters on sale. The email didn't list the price, but Cisco, you may want to check out
their website.

Brian, just checked it out they have a very limited amount of styles for a limited amount of guns. However the prices are much cheaper than one ordered from
the factory and you can have it now without the two month wait if you have to order one.
