Whatever you have, I'd like you to consider keeping it to yourself and getting some rest in the process. The show was/is a madhouse. People were 3 deep around the Miwall tables and prices are through the roof on everything. All the tables seemed well stocked, maybe even better than average as regards ammo, magazines and black rifles. Even so, things are moving fast... especially ammunition. I will get some rest tonight and head up to see my friends at a gun show. What better therapy can there be? I spent a couple hours up at the range today zeroing my Savage 30/06 for Tuesday's pig hunt, and I am gonig on that no matter how I feel. Ne Desit Virtus Rakkasans

Don't know how Saturday and Sunday went (probably a totally packed madhouse) but Friday was quite crowded, especially with the 100yds or so of Miwall's ammo tables being shoulder to shoulder and three or more deep all day! They were sold out of many popular calibers before noon, though they said there was another truck coming for Saturday restocking. Many thanks to Kevin (Rustybore) for the kind assistance he provided me, and the hospitality of his table! He even let me store my ammo purchases there while I roamed around unfettered, and while I was gone he had it priced high enough that it didn't sell, but if it had he would have had enough "profit" to split the take with me, even though I probably wouldn't have been able to replace it again by that late in the day! What a guy!!! Now he just needs to get his eyes checked as clearly he has become color blind. I showed up with one pink and one lime green sock, a yellow and a purple eye, and I made sure to be his 937th visitor, yet he wouldn't give me Tom's Krag, claiming he couldn't see the colors as represented. I'm beginning to think the whole thing was a put on to begin with!!! Hope you all had a great Basque dinner Saturday night. Hope to be able to spend some fun time, next time?!?! Miwall sold out of primers and bulk ammo all three days also. They had three semi's come with more ammo but it didn't last past noon on any of the days. People were showing up with hand trucks to just buy ammo. I have never seen such a rush on buying, and I must admit I boostered my supply on primers and carbine ammo. I have never had a rifle attract so much attention as that Krag and still not sell. I thought for sure one guy was going to buy it, but alas, I had to bring it home. I'll take it to our local show in a couple weeks and see how it does. All in all, I had a great show, and actually bought less than I sold, which is a first for me. Enjoyed breaking bread with the guys. Aubullet showed up as the 936th person, one off the correct number, and he tried to pass a light green sock off as lime green, and the pink sock was really fuchsia in color. Nice try, better luck next show. Sorry Tom had to work Saturday, didn't really get to visit like we normally do, missed that. Kevin in Or.
