But realistically, probably just a PTR-91 or if I'm luck, and HK-91. Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up...

I'll probably stick with less expensive bolt guns for a while unless a good deal appears.

Russian SKS/ Have a Tula Arsenal, but got rid of the Albanian. Tokarev SVT-38/ Nah. Tokarev SVT-40/ Had one. Sold it. Dammit. FN SAFN-49/ Got an Egyptian SAFN 49 FN FAL/ STG 58, but sold/traded the Argentine. CETME/ Sold both MAS 49/ Sold this one too (along with the scope and ALL the accessories. Why? I don't know. VZ52/57/ Looking. AR-15/ Nope. Maybe a really nice M16A1 type. Garand/ Have two, an H&R and a Springfield. M1 Carbine/ Have an Inland. Johnson/ The "Mother Load." Maybe if I sold my car? At this point in my collecting career, I have no interest in selling anything, unless I have two examples of a rifle and sell/trade one to get another rifle I don't yet have. My next rifle should be a Garand, since I've wanted one for a long time, but anything over $300 really stretches my budget. Johnsons and G43s are worth more than my car, which is crazy. I also agree with you on the AR - the ones that interest me are early M16A1 type rifles. I don't really care for the super-accessorized M4 lookalikes etc. Fun to play with, maybe, but outside my interests and expensive.
