I think we had a total (maybe a record) or 43 shooters on the firing line throughout the long day of nasty misty foggy weather.

I feel your pain as it was a 450+ mile round trip for me driving down from SW Virginia but I had as good a time as I did the first time I went. it was great to
see Bill, Scramble, Jeremy, PitbullOL and Flector and the many other faces I have become aquainted with. Johney is always a hoot and the man to beat, he is a
great shot.

Richard could not stop talking about how much he enjoyed the match. And he drove down the night before from the MD-WV border THEN down to Charlotte, coming
back here last night. He just left for his home about an hour ago. The dude never complained a bit about the distance so I don't want to read any more
belly-aching from you weenies!
Richard got 3rd. place on the team event, he's really happy with that medal! I got my garage wall coated: so the day was well-used up here. hsc

You got that right glock40man, she proved she was deadly accurate in the 2nd round of drop8, 10 shots fired to knock down 8 plates. If she works on her speed a
little she will be in the awards before long. And that was her first real competition. She was nervous and her safety glasses were fogging badly all day. It
makes us wonder how well she could have shot if she could actually been able to see the targets.

Thanks for filming me on the drop 8 Garand,Bill. It is interesting watching yourself shoot. I also held my muzzle a little too high on the reload. I
wasn't conscious of it til i watched the video. This was my worst event. This was the first time I've shot across the field, being on the far left side
of the range and shooting at the far right section. That was a new challenge. Did some of the brass fly close to you? It sounds like it near the end.
I agree that Erin will be a force to reckon with at the next event.The pressure doesn't seem to get to her. Another lady came in third on the drop 3 offhand if I remember correctly. |

Yeah Wayne, my camera took several shell strikes and the lens got dinged twice during the match. I think Jeremy got it once, John and you.
