They'll all be thumbnail pics so pic the ones you like...
Here's some new 5/20/06... Dug 'em out of the cedar chest. A couple of glass plate "ambrotypes" of myself. The frame of the second is original.
The first below is a CDV, Carte de Visite or card of visit. They were the first paper backed photos. This was made with an original camera. Exposure time was about 25 seconds. All available light. This was before the flash tray.

Here's some shots of artillery...

This below was units forming up for "Pickett's Charge." If you look close you'll see there's another line forming up in the rear of the first. We had 8000 uniformed "Confederates" for that reenactment. Almost as many as Pickett had.

Here's part of "Pickett's Division" going by...

There was a request for battle scenes showing smoke and dust. Well, here you are...

Here's two more but they're from the reenactment at Sharpsburg in Sept 1987. The action seen is the "Bloody Lane."

After the smoke cleared and the dust settled...

Yankee down. That was my musket barrel...

(The yellow stripe was caused by a problem with the scanner and is not properly part of the cover.
Well, there it is folks. Hope it is of some interest.
