Anyone hear from Eric OKC in a while? Another great guy. When I was in his neck of the woods for an Aviation Medicince conference we went out about every night
for a week shooting and visiting.

Teamspeak IP: 209.160.64.201:8768 Password: lemoncello If you don't have teamspeak, download it, so we can talk. We typically have been playing on the ETS server as they have a good population and don't allow RnG, but we float around from time to time. So get on TS about 9PM est, and we'll let you know the IP of the server we're on. If we had enough folks, we could climb on one of our servers, but the pops on those have been sparse as of late. You'll want Teamspeak 2 client- http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

Wow there are all kinds of kindred spirits out there! You guys are going into handles I just barely remember ever seeing post and some I just flat don't
remember at all. Long before I even lurked in the shadows even!
This has certainly been an enjoyable thread! I am wracking my brain to think where I remember reading posts associated with the names and often coming up with a big fat blank! Old Age I guess! Bill

Has anyone here spoken with Jim in Oregon lately? He occasionally post on GunB along with several of the posters listed as MIA on the previous pages. I kept
track of Jim and spoke to him on the phone last fall. I think he still shoots and hunts but has sold a few of his Milsurps. I need to give him a call.

I'm still around, still collecting. Got my start here, and come back to visit from time to time. Sure is good to see some of the old guys again. Sad to see
those missing.
M1Garand issued April, 1956, new in wrapper to B.G. Yockey, at Camp Pendleton, California. serial #2774590. Have you seen it? |

Joined in Sep 2002 after scouring the net for information. Lurking more than posting but really appreciated all the insights and knowledge.
Really appreciate the civility that Bill expects and enforces. Too many of the other forums seem to degenerate into name calling. I still check in regularly because of the civil discourse and knowledge that you can't really find anywhere else. I wanted to mention the help from a very knowledgeable member - can't remember his handle - but he was a font of information on the WWI Gew 98s. Very helpful with my weird double dated Spandau Gew98. Seem to rememember an Australian(?) member that was good with LEs. Still in shock at the ammo prices, miss the "good old days" of affordable RCs, LEs etc. Do you think we've seen the last of mil-surp "golden years"? |

You still shoot? You should come shoot with us sometime. Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

ThePitbullofLove wrote:Glad to hear it! How about your brother and dad?Going well, brother. Ah yes, I had a great time playing "back in the day" (why do I suddenly feel so old?) I remember you, me, Bill, Greg, bayoublaster, rackheath, brimic, woettinger, and a few others that I can't seem to recall. You realize that was over 7 years ago?!?! I still shoot but I sold off most of my collection. I kept my Oct '42 M1, STG-58, G1, CETME, Turk, .357 and .45. Unfortunately I had an accident on my Harley last October and I'm still recovering. so shooting anything but pistols is out for now. But when I do get back at it I'll have a built in titanium butt plate held in by 11 pins!

Glad to see you are still up and around Crazy! (Uhhhh .... Mr.Cruffler.)
Brings back memories of when I first found these forums, and remember reading a great deal of your posts. Back then I didn't have a clue what a "cruffler" was. Now I are one!

Thanks for the kind words. As far as motorcycling goes, after more than 200,000 miles and 28 years, it's safe to say I'm hooked. If (when?) God forbid I have to cut down on my 'luxuries' (Motorcycles, little boat, plane, Corvette, shooting...) the bike will be the last thing to go. And a .357...
