There was an auction in northern WI yesterday. They had a number of rifles among them was a 1954 Russian sks Tula unissued refurb in the box . and a couple
of Marlin 336's caught my eye too. so I called the auction outfit and called in a couple of high bids on the 2 lever actions and the sks. at the end of
the day here is what they sold for
336 Marlin in 35 sold $495 in 85% condition
30/30 Marlin sold $525 In 90% conditon
and the Russian sks ....*drum roll please.......
$1600

Ill get the prices on the rest of the guns monday. That is a fat price on an sks ...
Auctions never cease to amaze me on how people lose their sense of clear thought and self control.
I guess as long as all parties walked away happy........
