I'm trying to find the best way to mount a scope on my M48 Yugo. I would love a cantilever type such as from "Accumounts", or something that would allow a standard scope to be used, but due to cost, I have been considering a scout type mount, for a "red dot" or LER scope. However, there are so many variations in Mausers that it becomes problematic to be able to make them in economic quantities. I could, maybe make some smaller batches, but then they might cost $100-$120 apiece. I am presently in the process of ordering a 91/30 mount from you. Additionally, would you please comment as to the spacing of the slots on the mount and the depth. Are they Picatinny spaced (Mil Spec 1913) or just Weaver slots that don't follow any standard spacing as is the case with most Weaver style bases. I use Quick Detach Rings (Leupold and Warne) and like to switch scopes between rifles (obviously I keep track of necessary elevation and windage corrections for each rifle). Thank you.
