Due to the main focus of this site on the collecting and shooting

sporterizing topics (ex. "how-to sporterize", or "hey, check out my cool sporter") will not be permitted in these fourms.

Just got my c&r lic. would appreciate recomendations of dealers you have had good dealings with that provide what they advertise and those who may tend to
misrepresent their merchandise. Any advice would be appreciated to help me from making a costly mistake. THANKS

May I inquire as to what type and era of C&R handguns are the focus of your collecting?

Haven't completly decided ,thinking early-mid WWII in cal's 32 to 45. First I would like to get a 380 or 9mm /45to carry. I do have my carry pernit. I
like revolvers would really like to get a 1917 45revolver then the period acc. to go with it. Later look at Webleys. When I learn more I'm going to go for
a few rifles mauser's, sks,and a AK 47. Is this what you were asking about?

May I suggest taking a look at some of sites from the forum C&R links. Afterwards, if they have items that may be of interest to you, do a post in an
appropriate forum as to others experience with the vendor.

I did as you suggested but havent found anything yet.My regulations for the C&R Lic. just came guess I've got a lot of reading to do. Where can you get
one of those bound books to record transactions. Thought of copying one of the examples found on this site but it wouldn't be bound?

It does not need to be "bound", I have mine in a loose leaf note book. May I suggest you go to the link below and ask the guys there what they use as a "bound book". http://parallaxscurioandrelicfirearmsforums.yuku.com/forums/113
