Each round would get pushed into the chamber quickly when fed from the magazine. The bolt was not able to close on the round. I assume the extractor was not able to open over the chambered round (Albanian surplus). Everything worked great when I placed my finger on the round to hold it against the bolt while loading. After a little tinkering it seemed like the magazine follower was NOT pressing against the round as it loaded from the mag. I believe the follower should place a little pressure on the round to hold it against the bolt as it is chambered? I am thinking the mag follower needs a little tweaking to allow it to rise up a small fraction of an inch further? Has anyone else experienced this? I cannot play with the follower assembly until next weekend and do not want to fix it if it is not broken.
To my surprise there are two types of follower assemblies. My troublesome assembly is the later type with an older style assembly shown under it. I don't recall seeing these later style assemblies before though it is likely there are other late assemblies in my collection.
Here is a picture of mine. The "tooth" seems taller than in other
pictures I have seen of these?

Yes, the Albanian ammo I have used has seemed out of dimentional spec.
