I'm looking at a m24/47 to buy that has different writing on the left side of the receiver than my current one. It is: ЗABOД 44. I tried looking though the sticky for markings but didn't find anything. Thanks!

Zavod 44 is the factory at Kragujevic (sp?) where these rifles were built and refurbed. That marking was used until September of '47 when it was changed to
Preduzece 44.
