Howdy! I picked up a 1917 M91 today at a gunshow. Its got the full unscrubbed Peter the Great markings. It is dated 1917, and is also Finn SA marked. It is in
a 2 piece Finn, with butt toe splice. It has early style barrel bands, and Finn sling swivels, and a SA-T marked canvas sling. It also has the cleaning rod.
The bolt is Finn matched to the receiver and the mag is scrubbed.
Now for the interesting part. It has what appears to be an Austrian eagle capture mark on the receiver, and directly above that is a stamp of a bear. What the heck does a bear stamp mean? It is an outline of a bear, walking to the right.
