Posts: 1783 (12/13/07 05:15 PM) Host Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None I know there are several custom makers that offer holsters for the '82, but I don't want to pay $75+ and wait six months, I don't plan on carrying my '82 that often. I don't like thumb break holsters. I really like the price and comfort of the 715 SOOT from Don Hume. http://www.donhume.com/products/ProductsPage.cfm?ProductID=34 But, I sent them an email asking if they knew if it would fit the CZ, and the reply was "we have no idea." Does anyone have a Walther PPK to compare to the '82? I know the PPK is a little shorter in length and height, but I think it's close enough this holster will work. The holster isn't boned real tight, so if there are minor differences, I don't think it would be an issue. The other pistol that's close, at least to my eye, is the Sig 232. Can anyone help?

I'm just a little too traditional, I prefer leather. Beggers can't be choosers though, right? I guess part of my problem is I don't need to carry the '82. I have other handguns with holsters I like, so I can afford to be a little pickier.

Posts: 2 (12/20/07 01:30 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	bryan, i tried to find a holster for my 82 and wanted a belt clip, ambidextrous style holster. went with an uncle mikes sidekick. their application chart showed that one for a pp/ppk should fit, but it did not. just a word to the wise, i had to go a size larger to get mine to fit, trigger guard was too tall. hope this helps, bill

So, as a stop-gap I bought an Uncle Mike's Sidekick Size #1 and ended up liking it well enough that I never bought anything else. I normally carry IWB and crossdraw from my left front side. Granted, I don't carry my 82 all that much - but for $10 this holster has worked well for me. Regards,

Posts: 5 (10/16/08 05:52 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Bryan, I bought a 'skeliton' type of holster, the bare minimum of a holster with a sturdy spring steel belt clip IWB for my 82. I carry all the time and it is comfortable, it is highly concealable and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I got mine from www.sportsmansguide.com . The cost was less than $20 and if you join their "club" you can get it for a few dollars less. You can get good breaks on ammo and other shooting/hunting supplies too! The holster is quick to draw from, but a little slow to re-holster. It also has slots for use with a belt outside the pants if you did not want to use the clip. And, it is real leather and fits the 82 perfectly, even though it says it is for the Walther PP/PPK.
