Picked this beauty up at a local show today. It's a mint 70's T/C Contender with a 10" bull 41 magnum barrel complete with a nice T/C Leather
shoulder holster and Tasco Pro Point red dot sight. It should make a nice companion to my 35 Rem Super 14 Contender. Looks like I will be investing in some
electronic ear muffs with microphones so I can hunt with it safely. I had a 44 years ago and they bark really really loud.

I know you are going to love that gun, Bill. .41s and .44s are my favorites, and my Contender, whether set up as a pistol or a carbine, has been my favorite
way of firing them. I also have the Contender set up as a carbine in .204 Ruger, which I have come to really like.
The .41 carbine is my favorite for pigs right now. Tom

Hi Bill : That looks like a great new addition to your active collection. Winchester makes a great hunting load for .41 Mag. It has a 240 grain bullet instead
of the usual 210 grain that is the heaviest offered by other manufactures. My friend Troy bought a late seventy's Smith in .41 Mag with a six inch barrel
and those winchesters shoot great! I have always been a fan of heavy-long bullets in pistol calibers and I think it would bear trying in your new pistol. I
have a TC Super 14 in .44 Mag and it likes long bullets (240-310 grain) as opposed to 180 to 220 grain. The published ballistics for the 240 grain are a little
of the 240 grain .44 at 100 yards.
