My son is on a budget and looking to purchase a new rifle. Plans to use it on deer and boar.
We looked at the Remington model 770 and the Savage model 111.
I was surprised to find that the Savage 'felt' like a better rifle.
Have any of you had experience with these rifles? What is your opinion and recommendations?
Do you have any suggestions for a rifle that would fall into his price range? $400, plus or minus a few $, and still
have acceptable quality.
He looking at the 30-06 caliber.
