I recently picked up this rifle from a fellow collector and thought I would show it off some. I've dreamed of having a nice Yugo K98k rebuild with a Yugo replacement stock ever since I view the one on the banner of this forum. Just never in the right place at the right time. This one was worth waiting for. All stamped matching Yugo numbers on receiver, bolt, stock, and floorplate. Mint overall shape. Anyway, enough bragging. Here she is with pics of all the stamps I could find on her -- best, dxr

I had mentioned this rifle to Nug in a PM and told him it was coming here. I guess I will have to leave this rifle to him in my will since I see I have told him, "This one is for you". dxr .

The fit and finnish is generally veryhigh quality. The soviet captures just leave me without any feeling or interest. gil

I haven't been ignoring you, I've just been a bit busy the past few days. that's one nice rifle for sure. Done no later than 1950. TRZ.1 at Cacak. That's a little different lookiing "BK" stamp. the 'K' is non-typical. just over all real nice. I'd say it was one worth waiting for. thanks for posting it here too! That swirl pattern is similar to some walnut I've seen, but the grain and pore pattern does not look like walnut. NN - thanks for the feedback on "your rifle'. Does anyone know what that lower case b looking character above the Preduzece on the receiver is ? thanks ! Chris .

It's not typical walnut as most of us think of it, but is still European walnut I believe, made maybe from a diagonal cut including both heartwood & sapwood. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?
