It's sad to hear that some of the old time posters are no longer with us. The time sure gets away from a person. Anyway, that's all from me. All the best.

I just wanted to say hello. Few people will remember me, but I noticed this thread and wanted to stop in.

I remember ya, Steve.
Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

Dear Folks,
I can't remember how long it's been since I posted, but then I was more of a "reader"--attempting to pick up usable info--to start me finding and acquiring some of these neat metallic and wooden pieces of history. However, during my absence, my health has suffered significantly for the worse. I also nearly lost my wife (3 times) to various illnesses as well. So we both had our turns staring down the "grim reaper", and thus far we have persevered. I never really got started into C&R and 03 FFL and collecting. It seemed as though our "mad money" always ended up going to the doctors, and paying off outrageous insurance premiums and endless arrays of medical bills. I am sure there are others out there who understand what it's like living this way. I should be checking things out much more frequently, but probably still not posting too much. I'm still unable to do any gun shows, as my legs aren't strong enough for all that walking. My wife still encourages me to go (but it's too awkward with a walker, or two canes, or a powered wheelchair/scooter) About the best thing y'all could do is keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Maybe someday, I'll get the miracle of going to a gun show again. I'll be online, when I'm able... WVHillbilly |

Look after yourself and your wife. The Internet is fine part-time, but your health and your wife's health is more important. Keep trying to use the
walker!! Maybe someone you know can take you and keep the wheelchair in the car. If you get too tired, you can swap the walker for the chair. Drop by when the
weather is no good or after your exercise.

Guys, I gotta admit it makes me feel pretty good during these hard times to see so many "old timers" sounding off. I appreciate it so much.

collecting hobby changed quite a bit for me. Bill, you have a great site and it looks like you are doing just fine, so keep up the great work!!!!
Also like to say hi to Greg and Tony, and Pitbull from the old Medal of Honor days, sure had some fun then. Keep safe fellas!!!!!!! Rackheath |
