I remember an episode on TV when I was a kid. It was The Rifleman or else Gunsmoke, one or the other. A guy built a cannon that fired shotgun shells The scene
was in the sherriff's office and a bad guy had just beat up the sherriff or his sidekick and as he was leaving and shut the door behind him, the beat up
guy reached up and fired the cannon, blasting thru the door and into the back of the bad guy who fell back thru the door and dropped to the floor dead.
I have never experimented with cannons, but maybe someday I will get into it. But I most definately DO have experience with pipe bombs. This was many years ago, like over 40 years now. A buddy and I made several of them, including one monster out of four inch pipe, four feet long! When we set that one off down by the lake, all that was left was a big crater in the ground, just like a cratering charge would leave behind. Curt |

M1-Talker describes what sounds like a Kentucky fishing device of some sort...? You need a LONG waterproof fuse, to give it time to get way down to the bottom
of the river where the big ones hang out...
You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?

I think John Moses said 15 FEET of recoil, not inches, and this I can well believe as my bowling ball mortar recoils yards at times, and it weighs well over three hundred pounds |
