Show us those guns you're "thankful" for...even if they're "turkeys"
Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

I put a Romarm Draco on layaway on October 31, but that comes home in December. HOWEVER...I finally bought my Webley & Scott Mk. IV in .38 S&W, which
will hopefully be home with me on Monday!!! I also bought a TEC-22, as my uncle had one of these for the longest time, made it work despite Intratec's
lousy quality control, and it was great fun to shoot. That should also arrive at my gun dealer's on Monday.
EDIT: While the TEC-22 will arrive Monday, the Webley is going to SHIP on Monday. I happen to be bidding on another politically incorrect pistol on gunbroker that seems like it'll ship out quick (I've spoken with the seller) so I'm probably going to get all three of these things around next Thursday morning or even Friday (to spare me the seperate trips which, while really cool, are unfortunately kinda inconvenient for a kid in college).

I've bought a bunch of gun parts: G43, Steyr 1912, VZ 24, Turk 98 parts and stocks. When they come in I'll post pics.

My other politically incorrect pistol was just won off gunbroker...an Intratec AB-10 Stainless. For those of you who think I'm departing from my C&R
roots a bit with this...fear not! Next month, I'm getting two very classic C&R pistols as well as another politically incorrect pistol and a modern
pistol (plus the Romarm Draco comes off layaway...).

Had a table at the local gun show this weekend. Sold 3 rifles I no longer wanted, and traded another for a K98. It's a ce42 russian capture with flat
buttplate walnut stock. Also bought 3 pistols at the show- a Mauser 1914, a Suhl Ortgies .32, and a Mossy Oak Browning Buckmark. Everything can't be
milsurp or C&R, I guess.
Not a bad weekend for a bottom feeder. |

Webley Mk IV revolver from Allan's Armory | ||

http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/22717408
This came last week. It's in excellent condition with an excellent bore. It's had a safey added which seems stupid for a revolver. Now I have to track down some .38 S & W ammo. Carl |

Nice Webley! I notice it has a shorter barrel than the "War Finish" model I picked up a few days ago. Is yours a police gun or something similar, as
it has a lanyard ring?

I don't know enough about them to say whether it's a police model or not. I'm going to have to edcuate myself. Carl

A little horse trading and I got this Beretta 948. All it took was an old Pentax camera that was given to me. So, the Beretta didn't cost me a dime!
From what research I've found. The pistol is based on the 1934 military 9mm and was produced from 1948 to 1958. There's not a lot of info about these, seems like a bit of a rare bird. Greg |

.22 LR conversion unit | ||
|
From the SCACA show couple weeks ago, acquired this neat .22 LR conversion unit for the K98k rifle. An item that I have wanted to add to my collection for many
years.
It is an Erfurter Maschinenfabrik (ERMA), serial number 4681, dated 1937. This unit was part of a group of several firearms souvenirs returned to the US by a WWII veteran.

That conversion unit is very neat there VIS35. My november buy was a Savage No 4 Mk 1* on sale for black Friday for 150 bucks. Has original wood and an
excellent bore almost new.

Really cool stuff!! Dal; you'll like your Webley. I had one for a while and it was great fun to shoot. 38 S&W isn't hard to reload. I finally
traded it after I got a 1936 dated Enfield #2.
