Been working on getting all the parts for this one for about...oh, three years or so (thanks to all those who helped...you know who you are...) DSA Type II receiver Imbel NIB factory Para barrel and Imbel FH Imbel bolt & carrier DSA Para lower DSA Para stock DSA HTS DSA pistol grip DSA Para carrier Imbel Para topcover Imbel bipod cut HG's Thinking about gunkoting it....or maybe just rattle canning it.... I hope to shoot it tomorrow. Maybe I'll bring it to CR-PC's Military Match.... Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up...

Only 7.62 NATO units I have are Israeli Mausers and an FR-7. The Mausers have shotout (no, not that shotout) bores and the FR7 is a POS. I don't shoot much 7.62.

I miss the $0.13 per round delivered price of 2000-2004 But if one bought enough ammo at those prices, you can still do a fair bit of shooting....but yeah...they're still kind of costly to feed these days. Oh, and let's not forget big ugly.... I think that's all of them right now...I might be forgetting one though... Shot 70's dated Indian ammo Only shot at 25m as I had several rifles to zero today and daylight was fading.... Once I had her dialed in, I could keep all 5 rounds in a ragged hole. I was shooting at a paper plate with a 1"-1.5" spray of black paint in the center. No problem at all keeping all 5 rds in that circle, and it did easily whenever asked. I did have to bottom out the front sight, and I have to take a "Sig Combat" type of hold on the target (hold center mass...not 6-o'clock). Recoil was surprisingly mild. I love my Century FrankenFAL, but I dream of one day getting something like this. ETA - REALLY nice Izzy, too! I have a big weak spot for those.

This was an unexpected build. It started as a good deal on DSA para parts, and then Jeremy came up with some "unique" items that replaced some of my DSA parts. It's been sort of a labor of lust...I've wanted a Para for 20 years....since I saw one in a Guns & Ammo back in the day. The Izzy was fun build. I got the furniture from Sarco. I actually got to see the warehouse they "lose" stuff in.
