I went to the local show today and, of course, because I can't really spend anything, I found some really killer deals.
Two that really stood out were a Finn-captured SVT-40 in pretty good condition with little finish left on it. It looked to be in good working order, but the finish was mostly gone. He was asking $775, but I'll bet I could have gotten it for $700 OTD.
Later on in the same show, I found a Hakim in pretty good condition, with 50% or better finish on it for $400, but the guy said he'd take $350.
Just for future reference, those seem to be fair prices, but what do you guys think? I'd love to go back for the SVT tomorrow, but I doubt I can find someone who wants to buy a kidney that fst and I can't think of anythnig else I could sell fast to buy it. I'm going to have to settle for knowing I'd made the right decision or not.
