For those that know/knew me, it's been a LONG time since I was last on...
But that story is for another day!
I was at a local Goodwill 'as is' center yesterday.
For those who do not know, it is a place to buy sometimes good stuff incredibly cheap.
I found a military harness that I cannot make out the stamp on it.
I'll hopefully have a couple of pics shortly.
It's green (duh!)
belt part is solid, not grommetted for gear like us belts.
The buckle is a large, solid metal buckle with two prongs. The strap part of the belt is green tinted leather.
There are two side pouches both about 6" x 9" with a flap with a square grommet and a canvas strap that fits through the loop to secure it.
The back pack is similar with two straps with buckles.
the shoulder straps on the harness are padded with sewn on green coarse wool.
I'm thinking British around 1960s?
Your thoughts?
