Anyone gonna bite? M16A1 deal |

|
SG has what looks like a pretty good deal: Vietnam-era parts kit for the M16A1. Anyway, if I had the cash I might would do it, that way you could have a
complete AR for about 700.00.

You can build a complete ar for a lot less than 700 using a new kit, not some worn out surplus parts. Are these the ones with the barrel not drilled for the
front sight base pins?

You could get this same kit from a well known big importer for 520.0, dealer price. I'll buy one just for funzies when they sell for $300.0. I want to
do a retro build some day but even used Colt parts aren't worth 500. to me. Anything that Sportsmans Junk sells, can be had elsewhere and I wouldn't
buy from Cheaper Than Nobody, even if they gave their stuff away. Right now, Armalight has a good thanksgiving sale going. You can get a complete Eagle Arms
a4 upper for $400.0. No reason to pay that for worn out parts.

Even in kit for, I could get a kit for ~$500 or so and a receiver for less than $100, and we're talking new parts. Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

It just looked like a retro deal for anyone interested in that sort of thing........maybe I should stick with skydiving.

not sure what is wanted here , as a retro builder i would have been pleased to find another source of parts , that said its a spendy set of parts , but there
are not a lot of sites offering these parts so one could spend cash - or - time looking for them , ill not part with my retro 67-68 , and yes i have a few ARs
so this was a work of intent not just wanting a black rifle
i dfont have anywhere close to $700 in this , more like $450 , but they arent selling those complete uppers anymore |
