News to me, I pulled up their website, nothing there. A C&R Forum member insists they are there. Anyone heard or seen anything? Thanks.

The ones at Allan's Armory are tempting, but the added safety is a turnoff. What kind of stupid bureaucratic rules dictate a safety on a revolver?

Crap. I thought I already have everything I 'needed'. Are those military or civilian/commercial?

That safety puts me off as well

I have the model with the cutoff hammer spur, I think for tankers or something. Fun pistol to shoot. I would like one of the other versions, but that safety
looks stupid, is not necessary, and ruins the collector value. Sort of like drilling holes in a Mauser for a scope.

A safety on a revolver is as useful as breasts on a chicken. Is that the little lever on the left rear of the gun as seen in the AA picture?
Were these originally military issue and refurbed, like our Mosins? |

I think Doc meant useless as mammary glands on a boar hog.

Doc, I think they were originally British military issue, to answer your question. Looks like they went thru FTR, and then the exporter or importer added the
funky safety inorder to be able to bring them into the US. Some bureaucrat was sitting on his or hers shoulders when they thought up that one.

MD, it's not the lever. Pushing that breaks the revolver open. It's a little button immediately behind the button. I got the one from Allan's
Armory before I knew about the safety. In spite of that it's a really nice gun. Carl

I meant 'tit' on a chicken but was trying to keep it 'G'. In the process I screwed up my country metaphor!
I might go for one of those. I thought the British military caliber was .455 though? |
