I'm a member of many other forums, so I may have posted on many of your topics on other forums. I enjoy collecting & building AKs, Shotgun Competitions (spot shoots), Hunting, Fishing, Stock car racing, & many other hobbies.

I keep an eye on this site, Gunboards, Milsurp Afterhours, and The Russian Mosin nagant Forums, as time allows. All are civil and well-moderated sites in my opinion, different enough to open my eyes to new information and great penpals with whom to correspond and form friendships. I'm a motorcycle dealer, (BMW, Triumph and KTM). Born in 1947, Swiss father, I grew up in Vermont, went to college in New Hampshire, moved to California in '74. got my first .22, a boy's Anschutz, in Switzerland when I was 10. Loved guns and shooting ever since. Shot pistol competitively for a while (I really wasn't all that good, but it was challenging) but now I am totally into military rifles, focusing on small, representative Swiss, Finnish and British collections, plus a scattering of Swedes, Mannlichers, a Ross, and a few others others that don't fit the categories but I just like 'em. Shooting is a big part of my life these days. I reload a lot, and try to shoot several hundred rounds a month. I'm not particularly knowledgeable yet but love books and have accumulated a pretty good reference library over the years, in English and German, which is helping my education. Always eager to learn, and contribute when I can without being redundant. Thanks for reading this long post.
