I have listed some basic guidlines for using the site including what is expected of the users as far as what is cool and what is not. We aren't too strict here but do expect the site to remain civil and the guidlines will help you all out quite a bit. This is not a "free for all, anything goes" type of site. But for now, Welcome to my our website forums that are dedicated to the collecting, shooting, and friendly discussions of original configuration C&R and other collectible firearms and accessories. Posts: 1 (10/24/09 06:47 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi, I have been the occasional lurker on and off for some time now, and I would just like to say what a great site this is, with information freely exchanged. I have had a New Zealand firearms licence for the last 38 years, originally purchasing an Anschutz .22, semi auto. for hunting rabbits. Some years later I purchased a Brno .243, for deer hunting and recently was introduced to the world of collectable ex military firearms, by a lifelong friend who took me to a local Gun Club meeting. I think I have become addicted! as I have purchased three ex military Enfields in the last 6 months, my first was a #5 Enfield jungle carbine, followed by an Enfield #4 Mk1, and most recently an Enfield 1901 Cavalry Carbine, which I am expecting to take delivery of, in the next few days. I live in the North of the North Island of New Zealand, in the city of Whangarei, and have lived here since 1964, when my family came to "Godzone" from Scotland. I hope to "meet" a whole lot of new people and hopefully make some friends along the way. Cheers, Iain

Posts: 2 (11/19/09 04:34 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi all I have just joined this site , my name is Dave Iam from the UK , my collection consists mainly of BSA Martini action .22 rifles plus a couple of others , things are very different here in the UK for obtaining firearms . My late Father , his brother and Father all worked at the Royal Small Arms factory at Enfield , so Enfield small arms are in the blood , the only one I own is an Enfield No4 converted to .308 Target rifle . You often bring perspective and information unthought of or unavailable as may be the case, to our largely USA membership. Too, I have no doubt the folks on the Enfield forum will be most anxious to pick your brains about any knowledge of the Royal Small Arms factory. That's a rich heritage you have there. Posts: 2 (01/26/10 11:12 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Just joined the site and am interested in the older Polish Mausers. I live in LA, have been here most of my life. A true Cajun but I am not a hunter though a pretty good fisherman when I can get out. Age, 60, work as a psychologist in a state facility and am looking for retirement around the corner. Since I was a kid, I've been fascinated with long guns, Dad had a stock-fed tube .22 that somehow got confiscated by a family member. Always wanted one but only recently decided to purchase, then took a couple of Henrys, one plain, one magnum. Post-Katrina, a WWI stamped Polish Mauser purchased by my wife's deceased husband was stolen and it was intended for the oldest grandson. I'm hoping to replace it with a like rifle. One final note, after many years, the Saints are finally playing in the Superbowl and however many my days in hell will be much colder. Love those Saints.
