I'm not inclined to spend 80 bucks on a Huber for it although if I need to I will. I like the rifle a great deal and have a lot of ammunition for it. Is there a way to smooth out the trigger without buying a whole new one?

Anyone else have a really sucky trigger on their 24/47? |

I took my 24/47 out yesterday to try and get it dialed in after getting my sight situation all worked out. I am using a standard pyramid from sight and the
rear Mojo sight. Can't say enough about how much I like the sight. Wish I could say the same about the rifle. I cannot get it to group well at all and I
don't think it's an accuracy problem. I'm fairly certain I'm either flinching or just bumping the rifle on that hard trigger. It has a very
smooth pull but it breaks VERY hard.

Try a really good tear down and cleaning to remove any remaining grit around the trigger mechanism. Many of the 24/47s received new barrels at
refurb/conversion, so your barrel might need breaking in, too.

I consider most 24/7s to have relatively (relative to military Mauser two stage) smooth triggers, the parts having been 'polished' smooth through long
use. most often, such problems are the result of the innards having not been properly cleaned. Cosmo can hold a lot of gritty crud!
