ive got 2 nice m24/47's that i kinda wouldnt mind scoping one of them. was there any "factory" yugo snipers built on any of these guns i.e.
m48,a,b,xxx etc...? and if so what scope is correct?? i would very much like to emulate a "factory" sniper in a military sense rather than bubba a
mauser with some hunting scope and what~nots! any pics or links? thanks!

There was no regulation 'sniper' built by the FRY on any of their refurbished Mausers. Of course all manner of things were done in the 90s but such
random modifications do not concern us here.
Let me remind y'all that any modification requiring machining, drilling, tapping or otherwise permanently altering a Milsurp/C&R weapon from it's original production or issue condition is considered "sporterizing." Discussion of such processes on this site are against the site rules. That does not restrict you to the issue iron sights however. There are "scout mounts" for scopes. Those are mounts that attach to the rear sight base. Only removing the sight ladder is required. Said ladder can be re-installed at any time restoring the weapon to issue configuration. There are also "Mojo" sights- 'peep' sights that mount the same way. Diplomacy is the art of saying nice doggie until you can find a rock. Will Rogers |
