Then a year ago last September, I had an oral surgeon pull all my teeth and get fitted with store bought chompers. Actually that surgical proceedure was the easiest one of them all for me. Not any pain and I had to have seventeen stitches in my mouth because most of the teeth had to be carved out of my jawbone. The doctors always say that I have a very high threshold for pain, and maybe they are right? I am now 60 years old, and if I can go thru all that stuff, you can also. In fact, for a simple hernia operation that they do by the carload, I would not be a bit concerned about it. The worrying about something happening will make you feel a lot worse and could even cause you to be sick, due to excess acid in your stomach. So don't worry about it and get it done and report back after the fun is over.

. My hat is off to ya on that one and the more I realize and
talk with you guys it is easing my fears, but anyone young that has to go through this will be concerned. Maybe to take my mind off of this I will get out my
Lee classic loader and make some 303 ammo tonight. That way I can be comfortable but not useless at the same time.

. I hope that I stay a " rookie" when it comes to surgeries in the future, but I understand it comes with age and other causes. I have my
tonsils HooiserDaddy, but that I think counts as a surgery although I should have had them removed a long time ago since I get strep infections every year it
seems like. My dad was joking with me the other day that I am becoming a walking corpse like he is
. Now that I am
feeling worse it is almost like I want to get the work done now, they said it could be a few weeks before I have the surgery if needed soon.... sigh
. I just can't stand the medicine making me feel sleepy all the time, but
can't sleep with the pain despite the medicine. I can't wait till this is all said and done so I can go back to school, but likely that will be at the
start of next year oh well. The anticipation like you said gpschmidt is terriable knowing that if I move the wrong way can make it worse. Even my dog wants it
to be over so I can walk him again, but he knows I can't yet....he is pretty smart for a dog.
.
. At least I can sleep now a little better up to 5 hours a night now instead of
the 2 I was getting when this started.
