You'll notice a few changes in the collecting field from 20 years ago... mainly, there's considerably less to collect and what's available costs considerably more. There's still bargains to be had do you educate yourself in what to look for. Even still, as one of our members is want to say, "even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then." (or something near to that anyway.) I once found a Finn Mosin model 28 marked as a 91-30. I didn't know exactly what it was but I knew that [SA] stamp on the receiver was worth a good bit more than the $125 price tag! Found a Finn Model 91 the same way, same place the next week. The store keeper complained that it was too long to fit in the rack with all the other 91-30s... It can be tough to look bored at what's in your hands at times. Concerning this site, Hoosierdaddy is right. We're -G- rated, no politics, no flaming, nothing like that. just a lot of like minded folks here to discuss our common interests. some of these folk are also extremely knowledgeable about their subjects too.
