PLEASE take care of yourself and don't get hurt! Thanks for your service, too. My future son in law (wedding is two weeks from today) is an army reservist headed to Iraq two weeks after the wedding for his second tour of duty. I think he will have spent more time on active duty as a reservist than I did as regular army enlistee from mid '69 through the end of '71. He will also have spent a lot more time in a combat zone than my eleven months in Vietnam facing infinitely more dangerous conditions. I plan on giving him a service grade M-1 Garand as a combined Christmas, wedding, and thanks for serving our country gift. I KNOW he will appreciate it. Carl

I am a 62 year old Army Vet, drooling collector of curios and relics. I enjoy shooting, reading about WWII, and other outdoor activities. Used to re-enact French and Indian Wars, and I shoot flintlocks, also. I'm going to work my way through the stickies and then post the information about my Enfield No. 4 Mk 1.

I own a small HVAC company in the Peoples Republic of Marylandstan, I like to hunt, fish, shoot, and collect old guns. I really like WWII guns and early battle rifles, although I have this weird affinity for H&A guns.

Previously, I went through a number of modern semi-automatic handguns. I'm 63 years OLD but no where ready to retire. I'm enjoying knowing what I want to be when I grow up. Currently own four Mosin Nagants and a Yugo Mauser M48 in addition to some modern hand and long guns. I think that my next purchase will be an MN M38.
