He discovered that if he jumps up and hangs on the lever and pushes with his feet he's a free kitten. He caused much havoc last night and cost me much sleep. He's still in kitty isolation because I want my orange cat to get used to him gradually. I should have realized how smart he was about locks when I noticed his was the only cage at the shenter that was locked in addition to being latchced...

As us Parallaxers usually agree on most everything but I now have to point this out... If you do a search of the King James Bible, the word "dog" appears at least 40 times If you do the same search for the word "cat", you get zero results, only hits for "cattle"(which are quite tasty by the way). It's obvious that dogs belong to the kingdom of God, but cats must belong to the other kingdom... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand? Lions, on the other hand, are held in high esteem. The only one with a poor outcome I can think of is the one Samson killed. In Heaven, the lion, not the labrador, will lie down with the lamb. Therefore I conclude, God is a cat person :-) At any rate, the new kitten cost me two nights sleep so far. Heyperactive little creature, and nocturnal to boot. Milsurp kitty (sub one) ready to bonk him over the head with her Turk Mauser bayonet she's so irritated. Oh well, its a phase. As the country songs says, "You're gonna miss this." Maybe, maybe not.

Posts: 2260 (12/22/09 01:59 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Love this string! Our family is only complete when there are BOTH dogs (120lb Black Lab and 4lb Yorkie) and (4 now) cats. Yeah, litter-boxes (6 of them, well and daily maintained), sheets on the sofa for Lab-lounging in the evenings while the Yorkie dozes on the top, back of the sofa with his butt against who ever's head is available. My wife keeps saying "When these animals die, we are not getting any more" and she's said that for the past 28 years while our previous little friends rest in their place under the cedars and are replaced one by one by new friends left behind by tourists and vacationers, the animal shelter, etc. Visit <The Animal Rescue Site> and help give free stuff to support our friends; only takes a few seconds and costs nothing (site sponsors pay for the food) but a little time. Do it! Just do it! Merry Christmas and may God bless you. I'm now going to go find my six critters and hug 'em for each of you (the Yorkie HATES being hugged but I'm gonna do it anyhow, just to listen to his tantrum).
