all matching # B6276 on reciever, bolt , floorplate, and stock along with 1.TRZ on stock.
bluing is about 99% with 2 tiny spots showing wear.
barrel appears new with excellent crown and just a light coating of cosmoline in it.
wood all matches and looks great with minor sanding scratches in it and 2 small dings.
pulled the front site cover and moved front site, it was way to the left.
cleaned out the barrel, mag area, and removed as much cosmoline as i could
disassembled the bolt and did the boiling water trick for about a 1/2 hour with dishwashing soap to get the cosmo out along with blow drying and re-oil, what a mess it was!!!
went over the wood with murphy's oil soap, got a lot of dirt out of it and then a touch of lemon oil to make it look better so far its turned out nice.
well its all back together and its looks great, i got a old U.S. leather miltary sling that should go well on it for now and yes i did bleed putting the bolt back together, it pinched me a good one.
almost forgot i did pick up a 100 rds of Romanian surplus 8mm to go with it, can't have a rifle and no ammo on Chrismas morning. its great to have a son who is a avid shooter but sometimes he gets to be a bit to much with the FALs and AKs ammo wise, as in going through a lot of dads surplus ammo lately.
just a note here guys i've seen that 1.TRZ mark on Mosin stocks and was told it means ( property of yugoslavia ) any word on this?
