I have recently purchased a Polish Tokarev made in 1952. It seems like a good handgun and accurate for me.
My question is about pierced primers. About 40% of the rounds fired had opierced primers. Just a very small pin hole at the bottom of the firing pin dimple. Is this normal for this gun. Tha ammo used is Romanian manufactured in 1984.
The other thing is that the firing pin dimple had a scrape that looked like it was caused by the firing pin. The scrape extends from the firing pin dimple to the edge of the primer.
