I bought two .303 British rifles (elsewhere on this Forum) and an 8mm Mauser (also here).
Someone sold me about 120 used .303 British brass cases (he owned one of the .303 rifles) and
I also purchased 50 new Winchester brass cases from a store. I obtained a LEE press and the Lee Dies.
The problem is that the new cases cycle thru the LEE resized/deprimer easily, while the old cases
will not resize - I cracked the edge of my workbench trying to press the Lee Press with the old cases !
The old cases are marked
"R . P" R dot P
and
"F C"
Some are deprimed - some not (about 50:50).
They weight almost the same as the new Winchester Brass.
I used Lee Die Lube.
Am I doing something wrong or is this perhaps a normal situation ?
Has the Brass "hardened up" perhaps ?
Some comments would be appreciated.

Much easier to put drops of H #9 on a patch than have to dip it in the bottle !
