Very nice indeedy! But one has to ask... Is that a current photo? Are flowers blooming where you're at???
![]() Just an FYI note, no criticism. Grouping your photos into one like that is a good idea. But leaving a slice of clear space between shots makes the whole much clearer. By way of example, below is a grouped shot appearing as two. (Also, your M39 is prettier than mine. )![]() Diplomacy is the art of saying nice doggie until you can find a rock. Will Rogers

Nothernug, thank you for the comments. Flowers in February are possible when you live in sunny California and have a house with 5 foot roof overhangs and flower boxes underneath.
I bet your stock has better markings than mine? I think mine went through a arsenal refurbish after 1956, butt reinforced? Even though its a wartime stock it has no markings on the stock? Almost no dents or rack marks and the metal is in better condition than any of my other milsurps, 90%+? The bore nice all the way to the crown. Can't wait to shoot her and find out how her accuracy is? |

Yeah, this one owns it's dents and dings. I sold a total refurb to get this one. The repro Bayo came with it as a bit of a plus.
Some of the stock markings and dings.- Off the top of my head, I forget- what makes - that is identifies- a war time stock? ![]() ![]() Please be sure to post the results of your range trip. ![]() Diplomacy is the art of saying nice doggie until you can find a rock. Will Rogers |

Its the way the 2 piece stock is spliced together, mine has the round tips to the splice? I'll get a picture of that and post it when I pull the gun out again.
Here is my picture again with some separation... |
