Since it's not original, you can do anything to it that you want to. But, if you have a repro brite or in the white you'd rather have blue? I have a blued repro. Maybe we can swap? Let's carry any further discussion about swapping (if you're interested) by PM (which I have just sent you). My repro... It mounts to my M39 just fine... Like Bill said, they were left in the white. I had toyed with the idea of removing the bluing but decided why make it easier to pass as real later on.
