Kale Short Rifle made in 1945? Not impressed with the selection on Ebay or GunBroker, so thought I'd start putting my feelers in the water elsewhere. Call me if you have one that won't break the bank, and would be a nice representation for my rifle. Thanks, Ryan 9103203428

Posts: 2549 Jun 20 12 12:44 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	When you are checking auctions, are you searching for the M1935 bayonet? There is a pretty decent one on EBay right now for $40. Many if not most of the Turkish bayonets are not real pretty. There is a "new made" M1935, and most of the rest you will find are converted (cobbled) to M1935 configuration from other old bayonets of several types. The one I have for my K Kale is in acceptable condition, but by no means "cherry".

I believe I know which bayonet you are talking about on ebay right now, and seriously considered it, but since I have a bayonet coming to me now, and probably a very bad conditioned one, but a bayonet none the less, I am being more serious about finding one that is as I want it, and that one isn't quite there. I started out looking for a cheap one, then decided they were all junk, and to look for one that wasn't cheap, and they are not much better, so...I went with a hand picked one from IMA (probably a piece of junk by their own admission over the phone) and hope it will be (ok). Now I am being particular and looking for one that is really nice, and if it costs me as much as some of the other bayonets I've collected, well, it'll be in good company. If you see one, or know of anyone with a nice one, just let me know if you like. It is actually something that has been keeping me from sleeping lately, as I'm that big of a gun nut, and not having a bayonet for a gun that takes one, man....oh man....it just gets under my skin. Once the piece of junk bayonet gets here, I'll lose less sleep, but I need to get a nice one or it's going to be rough going... robsguns@yahoo.com is my email, thanks. Ryan
