Might it be the action return spring be weak and a new wolf replacement be the fix?
Other ideas?
Thanks.

M1 Carbine trouble |

My Winchester M1 Carbine has one of those annoying problems that can't be ignored. About once every ten rounds it fails to feed the new round into the chamber. It ejects the spent round but as it's loading the new round into the chamber it stops short. Pulling back on the bolt handle about an inch and letting go fixes the problem and the action closes ready to fire. I've taken it apart and cleaned it well with no improvement.
