About 6 months ago, I asked for everyone to list the powders they use and for what catagory. After making copies of the posts (15 pages!) and making lists, here it is, pretty interesting.

BTW, I never put my powder picks on it, need to do that.

No really, I just ventured into this topic so I haven't posted my most used at least yet. And ironically, it would be AA2520.
Reason is I have found that Acruate 2520 does seem to be very versatile as far as being able to be used in many differient calipers and bullet grains. But I guess far as performance goes, it pretty much just does the job is all. That's good enough for me. I guess I'm probibly more concerned with haveing many differient powders I won't hardly be using to a mininum than the average Joe at the time anyway. Domecq

I use IMR4064, H335, WW296, WW231, and Unique exclusively and they all ranked at the top or near it in the catagoies I shoot. I feel good..............Mike Now if everyone wasn't sold out of H335 I'd feel Great.

REALLY surprised Hodgdon Varget was not mentioned.

It's a great powder for the .308, and it works super in my 7.62x54R handloads with both 150 grain and 180 grain bullets.

With prices soaring and availability spotty, I've settled on Varget for rifles and 231 for handguns. This way I'm able to buy in quantity and ride out the dry periods. I no longer load any magnums.

IMR 4064 & 4895 has served me very well in 308 Win & 8X57js
