recently i came accross a hi power represented to be a belgium produced firearm sold under
contract to israel for use by police.
It has the ribbed slide, and is forged. Assume this is a markII.
Also has the painted finish. Importer was NHC Sac Ca. has spur hammer and marked on left slide fabrique nationale herstal belgique over browning patent depose.
Has small safety, and slide hold open. Belgium marked magazine.
Can someboy fill me in on the history of these firearms, and how to verify it's use in israel. Originally the owner had an israeli canvas web holster for it. might add also serial number marked on exposed barrel in chamber to frame. Balkalite grips and lanyard ring on left bottom of grip.
