Here's a picture. http://www.scopemounts.com/index.html?main.html M1's don't take scope mounts well. The sniper variants had the scope on the left side of the receiver. Awkward to say the least. Spelling and grammar count!

Posts: 109 (07/08/09 06:29 AM) active member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	old Sneaky back: Just for info--Decided that i didn't like that left offset and the peep had to be set @ 200, SO I went with the CMP Scout Mount a Weaver 4X postol Scope and a set of Warne QR rings. I've had t to the range several times and it is working excellent. and if I want to convert back to the Garand's natural state it takes about 3 minutes. A couple of older guys with old age eye problems liked the mount and are planning to do the same. And the CMP mount was cheeper than the S&H THANX--SNEAKY
