It was first developed in 1950 and was used in Korea,Vietnam as well as Special Ops. This case has unlimited possibilities to protect your gun, use it as a scabbard on an ATV or pack horse, case your shotgun in the damp duck boat, use the buckles to pull it up into your tree stand, case that beautiful M1-Garand/carbine,M-14,Vietnam and Korea era weapons to make a complete set etc. You cannot find a better case to protect your cherished weapon in the field. This case was designed to protect a weapon in an AIRBORNE drop!! These cases are very hard to find ....almost unavailable. Today it would cost well over a $100.00 just to manufacture this case!!
