weapon. What would that weapon be, and why?
I am leaning toward the SKS. Reason being that this rifle seems to be very reliable, durable, semi-auto, fairly accurate, and easy to handle. Also, the ammo is
fairly light, (you can pack more rounds with less weight), the ammo seems to have fairly good knock-down power and velocity. Chances are, the other side will
be shooting the same round. Hence, any captured ammo can be used against them. I don't have any experience with an AK-47 as I don't have one in my collection,
however, I would have to think that it is fairly similar to it's cousin, the SKS.
As a 'back-up' weapon, I would keep the M1-Garand handy. Simply because you can't argue with success. The rifle that won WWII.
