The local shop is out and backordered with no idea as to when they are getting anymore in.
So much for trying to buy local.....

For you folks that have a flat top upper, here's the best price I've found on line for these things.

Yes they do, but do they have them at this price?
As of just a few minutes ago, this is what it showed up like in the cart. Same as last week when I posted this. Still 10% off. That is almost like saying free shipping. AIM is good, but so far this Palmetto place beats their price with shipping included. Magpul Rear MBUS Adjustable Sight - Black 1 $55.05 Coupon internalitemdiscount - 10% $49.54 plus $7 shipping via UPS ground. $56.54 shipped

Yes Chuck.
AIM has them for $55.05 + $0.01 shipping= %55.06 delivered. Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

Glad to see AIM get with the program!
I was going to order from them, since the local shop didn't have them in stock anymore and didn't know when they would get them, so I said, OK, I'll order from AIM Surplus, go to the website weekend before last and all they had in stock was the dirt colored ones and no .01 shipping. So I googled up Magpul rear sight and got a bajillion hits (almost everyone and their crazy uncle is selling AR parts it seems like) but no one as of last weekend had the black rear sight in stock, ready to ship for a decent price, except Palmetto. I saw those things for upwards of $80 for the rear sight alone at some of the more gouging priced websites! The only place that had them in stock at a decent price was Palmetto Armory, at that time. Palmetto also has the 5.45x39 mags priced competitively too! Their ammo, while priced OK, was completely negated by the shipping fee for ORMD.....no thank you folks, I'm not paying $15 in shipping for two 30 round boxes of 5.45x39 Silver Bear. So there, a totally honest and unbiased review of a relatively unknown (to me) company (good reviews of them at AR-15.com). While some prices are good, actually in stock and shipping at a decent price unless you're buying ammo. I removed the ammo from my cart, they didn't even offer to buy me dinner first on the shipping for the Silver Bear. Basically, it pays to shop around.

It does pay to shop around.
Palmetto seem to be good folks though. My brother got his M4 upper from them a few months back. And as always, AIM is one of my favorite vendors....especially when Chuck's box is missing accessories Life is the crummiest book I ever read, there isn't a hook; Just a lot of cheap shots, pictures to shock, and characters an amateur would never dream up... |

Better to be missing accessories as missing the rifle that they go with....
