It's my first Mauser (Sunday gun show) and it took me over a day to notice the very slight offset to the rear handguard.
As I don't yet want to take the gun apart to try to line up everything, is this common, and due to an internal part which won't fit into place?
They say that if you shoot a decent group from 50 yards (two bullseyes among my first six shots with first Mauser-pure luck), don't change anything.
