Bore isn't the best, but the barrel is original. I've got the spare barrel in it for shooting. Best I can tell it's all original. I've sent Colt thier $100 for an archive letter. I'd appreciate input about it. Does this qualify as one of the Army Black types? According to FBI statistics from 2011, there were 323 homicides committed with a rifle of any kind but 496 with a hammer or a club. Probably just before the Black Army finishes, thus you are lucky." thats why mine is not so nice - its 'black army' finish is worn , oh BTW , the lanyard loop magazine was discontinued july 18 1916 , so it is not 'correct' for the 1918 pistol , but may well have been issued with it , i do so like the looks of one - just never come across one i could afford In these times 'I'll keep my God, my freedom, my gun and my money.
