There is a new K98k reference book out on the market written by Michael Steves and Bruce Karem.
This book covers Late war ('44-'45) Kar98k rifles. It also have chapters on shipping crates, capture papers, bayonets, slings, etc.

This is appears to be a quite nice book and may/should be a 'must have' for any ww2 collector.
